Jsme tým zkušených učitelů a rodilých mluvčích, kteří se dlouhodobě věnují výuce angličtiny. Naším cílem je nabídnout žákům základních a středních škol kurzy, které jsou nejen přínosné, ale i zábavné, a které motivují k dalšímu studiu.

Víme, jak důležitý je kontakt s rodilým mluvčím, a proto jej přinášíme přímo do škol – bez ohledu na jejich velikost či polohu. Poskytujeme cenově dostupné kurzy v prostředí, kde se žáci cítí nejlépe – přímo ve své škole a v čase, který jim vyhovuje.

Naši lektoři mají vysokoškolské vzdělání a mezinárodně uznávanou kvalifikaci pro výuku angličtiny jako cizího jazyka. Vhodného lektora doporučíme podle potřeb školy. Těší nás, že se naši lektoři na školy pravidelně vrací na žádost žáků či českých učitelů.

Náš tým lektorů a lektorek

Alayna is originally from Texas, USA, and has just moved to the Czech Republic. She recently graduated from university and received her TEFL certificate. She has three years of experience teaching dance to young children in private, small-group, and large-group settings. Her main goal is to ensure comfort and foster creativity among the young learners she teaches, boosting confidence, interest, and self-expression in their language learning. She enjoys incorporating dance, music, art, and television/movies to make language lessons immersive and interactive. Outside of the classroom, she especially enjoys ballet, skiing, hiking, biking, baking, and reading.
Becca is from Tennessee, USA, and has been living in Prague since 2021, where she first earned her TEFL certificate. She has taught in many different forms – at schools, summer camps, online, private tutoring, and kindergartens. She enjoys teaching children of all ages and uses games and activities to make language learning natural and interactive. She wants to create a comfortable environment for her students where they can speak freely and feel safe trying and making mistakes. In her free time, she likes to travel, ski, practice yoga, dance, read, and enjoy a nice day outdoors. 
Jessica is a native English speaker from sunny California and has been teaching English for the past 4 years. She absolutely loves working with students and helping them feel more confident speaking English! She also speaks Spanish, so she knows that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging—but it can also be really fun! Her goal is to make lessons comfortable, interesting, and something students actually look forward to. When she’s not teaching, you’ll probably find her painting, exploring something creative, or enjoying time with friends. She loves bringing creativity and positive energy into her lessons, and she’s always happy to meet new students from different backgrounds. Whether students are looking to improve their conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, or just feel more comfortable speaking English, Jessica would love to help!

InnGee grew up in the Philippines within the international school system, where he enjoyed building friendships with classmates from all around the world. He has also lived in the United States, England, and South Korea, but the Czech Republic has a special place in his heart as his three favorite people (his amazing wife and two sons) are Czech. InnGee is passionate about helping students learn English through fun activities and games. He strives to create a comfortable classroom environment where students can learn at their own pace and are naturally drawn to participate. During his free time, InnGee loves spending time with loved ones and reading.

Veronika is an English and German teacher with a natural feel for communication. She has experience teaching both children and adults, from one-to-one lessons to group classes at primary schools. She grew up in the US, Germany, and Japan, so she can answer a wide variety of questions the students might have! In her lessons, she focuses on natural language acquisition, active speaking, and creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence. Her friendly and adaptable approach helps learners feel comfortable and motivated to use the language in real-life situations.

Toli grew up in New York City. She has lived in the UK, France, and now in the Czech Republic for the past decade. She has taught young learners multiple subjects in English for the past 22 years. Her main goals are to raise students‘ comfort level and opportunity to speak English as much as possible. Toli is TEFL certified with Young Learners and Montessori extension courses. She attended the world-renowned BFA Jazz Conservatory program at New School University and incorporates a range of speech and melodic approaches into her teaching. In her spare time, she enjoys publishing, podcasting, and traveling the world with her polyglot child.

Stacey comes from the United States and grew up in Michigan. She has lived in many different countries throughout Europe, including France, Finland, Germany, and now Czechia. She received her TEFL Certificate from the University of West Bohemia in 2014 and has been teaching English in Czechia ever since. Stacey enjoys teaching all ages, but especially kids. She really enjoys teaching at English Focus because she can spend time in parts of Czechia she would not normally visit. In her free time, Stacey loves to ride her bike, ski, cook, and travel.

Orla is a TEFL-qualified English teacher from Dublin, Ireland. She has been living in Prague and working as an English teacher for over a year now. Orla also has a background in psychology and strives to maintain a caring approach to teaching while accommodating students’ different levels of proficiency and learning styles. She has many hobbies and interests, including music, theatre, running, hiking, traveling, and reading. Orla will strive to make lessons fun and engaging while improving students’ language skills and promoting greater self-confidence.

Daniel is a writer and musician from Connecticut, USA, and studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He’s been living and working between the United States and Prague for almost twenty years, writing, recording, teaching English and guitar, and performing. In that time, he’s published three books of poetry, which were translated into Czech by renowned translator and poet Zdeněk Hron. The most recent, “Aptera”, was released by Paper Jam Publishing in June, 2020. His forthcoming book, “Epitaph for an Era,” will be published in early 2027 by Novela Bohemica. As a guitarist and singer, he’s released several albums with various groups, including most recently his self-titled solo album in 2023.
